The University of Cape Coast Business Incubator (UCCBI) is an initiative of the School of Business, University of Cape Coast, Ghana. The fundamental goal of UCCBI is to encourage creativity and innovation among the youth, nurture the growth of existing businesses and promote the establishment of new businesses within the Cape Coast Municipality and beyond. This shall be pursued by providing logistical support such as floor space for offices and business development services such as coaching, training, offer of networking opportunities (that enhance access to finance, suppliers and markets), secretarial, research and other related support. Consequently, business start-up is expected to be more attractive and less daunting with lesser hurdles for novice entrepreneurs to handle. UCCBI was established with support from Internally Generated Funds (IGF) from the School of Business with Technical support from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, University of Applied Sciences, Germany. It was inaugurated on 25th of October, 2013.

Vision
To be the acclaimed Ghanaian entrepreneurship centre of excellence for the promotion, nurturing, and development of business start-ups and entrepreneurial behaviour, particularly, among the youth in Ghana.

Mission
To provide quality and focused support to future and existing entrepreneurs mainly through offer of logistical support and business support services necessary for the establishment of new businesses and the success of newly established and existing small enterprises. These shall be attained by pooling expertise and resources from industry partners, the academic environment and the international community.
